In Canada Immigration Visa

Canada consistently ranks among the top choices when applying for a permanent resident visa. Anyone hoping to find permanent employment and a place in Canada should consider earning a credential from a recognized academic institution there.

Express entry is a Canada PR visa process through which skilled workers can apply for permanent residency in Canada. An Expression of Interest (EoI) to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is required to be submitted by applicants to be considered for this program.

If all goes as planned, you can apply for Canadian permanent residency (PR) six months after receiving the invitation. After receiving an ITA Canada, the next question is what paperwork you need to submit for Canadian permanent residency.

Need to Submit these Documents After Receiving Your ITA Canada PR

  • Educational Details

Provide verification that you have completed your college or university studies. Credentials like diplomas and degrees are available. Even if your total education level is already up to ECA standards, you should still take the test.

  • Travel Document PR

If you have a passport, you need to provide a copy of the following pages: the information page, which includes your name, birth date, and country of origin; any visa or stamp pages, as well as any pages with markings or other documentation.

Suppose you do not have a passport and are required by law to use an alternative form of identification for international travel document PR. In that case, you must use an ID issued by a government agency that includes your name, date of birth, document number, citizenship, residency status, photo, and expiration date.

  • Employment Records

Employer references are required for your current position and any and all positions. Pay stubs and a letter of recommendation from your current or most recent employer should be included.

  • Medical Examination Documents

When your medical exam is complete, ask your doctor for a copy of the printed information or an IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form. Show that you scheduled a medical examination even if you won’t be able to complete it in time to submit your work permit application. If you think that is not the case, then provide evidence.

  • Police Certificates

You must provide a police clearance document for each country, region, or territory other than the country where you have resided for a minimum of six months. Simply put, a police certificate is a record of your criminal history or an official declaration that you do not have a criminal record. Police certificates can be called a variety of different things depending on the country or territory you’re in.

The IRCC uses these to determine if a person can be granted entry to Canada, and either police or government departments provide them. You should provide a letter of clarification in place of a police certificate if you are from a country that is not generally recognised as issuing or providing such certificates.

  • Digital Photograph

  1. Your photo must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm in size.
  2. Your photo should show the tops of your head and shoulders and the center of your face.
  3. The total circumference of the head, from chin to crown, must fall within the range of 31mm to 36mm.

Since pixels or DPI (dots per inch) are commonly used to express digital dimensions, you should ensure the actual proportions in the pixels are no less than 420 x 540.

  • Evidence Of Means Of Financial Support

Submit a letter from your bank or other financial institution verifying your employment and income if you are applying for the Canada PR visa process.  It must be printed on the financial institution’s letterhead, list all of your bank and investment accounts with account numbers, opening dates, and balances as of the end of the preceding six months, and list any delinquent payments or other liabilities you may have.

How Can You Work While Studying In Canada?

Full-time students at a Canadian university or college may be eligible for either part-time or full-time employment. During academic periods, permit holders are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week and, during breaks, full-time.

If you are applying for an ITA in Canada on a valid study permit, you are allowed work for up to 20 hours per week without applying for a separate work permit.  However, your right to work for an ITA in Canada must be reflected on your study permit.

Suppose your study permit does not explicitly allow you to work or accept employment in Canada, but you are otherwise qualified to do so. In that case, you may apply to have your permit amended.

Cooperative education (co-op) and internships are increasingly becoming mandatory components of a wide range of Canadian curricula. You may be able to work full-time if you meet the criteria for a co-op or intern work permit.

How To Switch To A Work Permit Post-Study Completion?

It is possible to apply for a post-graduation work permit after earning a credential from a DLI. Graduates of a DLI are eligible for work permits valid for up to three years following a post-graduate work permit in Canada.

A post-graduation work permit is advantageous because it is not restricted to a single employer, field of work, or geographical area. Another name for this is ‘open work permit.’ If you have an open work permit in the Canada PR visa process, you are free to take any job available.

After you finish your studies, you have 180 days to apply for a work permit. After that, you can apply for a post-graduate work permit from inside or outside Canada.

Conclusion:

To sum up, be aware that your study permit will no longer be valid once you complete your studies. You are legally required to report your withdrawal from school to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You must leave Canada while your work permit application is being processed if you do not have status in the country.
