Partner Visa (Subclass 820 & 801)
An applicant who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, and eligible New Zealand citizens can invite their married Spouse (Same-sex) or de facto partners(Including Same-sex partner) to Australia and remain permanently in Australia. There are two categories of partner visas: Subclass 820 & Subclass 801.
Subclass 820 visa a Temporary partner visa and Subclass 801 is a permanent partner visa. Applicants apply for both visas at the same time and pay only one application charge. Applications are processed in two stages, about two years apart.
To apply from outside Australia, there are different categories of visa which is Partner Temporary Visa (Subclass 309) and Partner Permanent Visa (Subclass 100):

Prospective Marriage Visa(Subclass 300)
The applicant who is engaged to an Australian citizen or permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen may enter Australia on a Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300) and marry your intended. It comes under the Non-immigrant Temporary visa category. To become a permanent resident, you must marry within nine months from the date you enter Australia.
After marriage applicant can apply for a partner visa(subclass 801 & 820).
Child Visa(Subclass 101)
A parent who is an Australian citizen, eligible New Zealand citizen or holder of an Australian permanent visa can apply this visa to invite their dependant child under 18 years or a full-time student aged over 18 and under 25. The child must be single and outside Australia when the application is made.
The applicant can bring their family to Australia on a dependent family visa. they can invite a child or spouse living abroad. If the applicant is coming to work or study temporarily in Australia, their family is eligible for a dependent visa.
Dependant Work Visa
Anyone who is coming to Australia on a migrant worker or business visa, they can invite their family member to join them in Australia, includes:
- Spouse or Partner;
- Any children under the age of 25;
- Aged dependent relatives such as parents or grandparents.
