Manitoba Farm Investor Pathway

Previously known as Farm Strategic Recruitment Intiative (FSRI) this program is exclusively made for individuals who have relevant skills and experience in farm management and are intended to immigrate to Canada to manage and operate farmlands that are available in provinces that suits their profile.

Eligibility Criteria for Manitoba Farm Investor Pathway (FIP)

Must have minimum of three years of experience in farm management and farm operation in their native region and the concerned individual needs to provide supportive proof of documents.
Proficiency in English or French is found to be mandatory for applicant who opt out FIP program where it makes them get established in the rural areas of Manitoba. Moreover the applicant will have an interview to get through the process in English or French.
The applicant is expected to make a minimum investment of 3,00,000 CAD to own and operate a farmland in Manitoba’s rural area.
A detailed farm business strategy is found to be a mandatory part of application.
The applicant is expected to conduct a deep-roted farm research in Manitoba before investing.
The farm business on which the applicant is about to invest should be active in carrying out the entire farm business properly.
The applicant ones got selected must reside nearby the farm land and take active participation in the entire yielding process.
The applicant must show active adoption towards practical farming skills that highly relates to Manitoba’s farming practices and also to be well-versed with the latest technologies used in farming.
The applicant need to have a minimum of properly earned networth of 5,00,000 CAD to invest in Manitoba farm land business.
