What is Canada Express Entry?

Express Entry is the digital immigration management system of Canada. This was launched in 2015 by IRCC, which will handle all the applications for Canada PR made by skilled foreign workers. The Express Entry system is Canada’s primary economic immigration stream, and it allows the government to invite the highest-ranking candidates to apply for PR. This application will be based on their education, language ability, skills and work experience.

Through the Express Entry system, the country aims to attract qualified candidates who will make meaningful contributions to the labour market and quickly integrate into Canadian society.

Croyez Immigration, a trusted and experienced immigration consulting firm, has helped 1000+ clients to become successful Express Entry candidates for Canada. We help with CRS-boosing strategies and support in building a PR application which will be flawless.

What Programs are Part of Express Entry Canada?

The Express Entry system of Canada manages multiple immigration pathways for skilled workers who are aiming for PR in Canada. Each of the programs is customised to different types of Candidates based on their job skills, experience and education. The programs are listed here.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

The FSWP is designed for candidates who have foreign work experience and educational qualifications. The applicant should score at least 67 out of 100 points on a selection grid. This grid includes age, education, work experience and adaptability.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class is ideal for applicants who have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada in the past three years. This program will be particularly suitable for international students or temporary foreign workers who are already in Canada.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

The FSTP targets skilled trades professionals which including electricians, welders, chefs and plumbers. These professionals should hold at least two years of work experience in their field. To apply under this program, a job offer or a Canadian certificate may be required.

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP via Express Entry)

Provinces and territories will nominate candidates who meet the local labour market needs through this PNP. When a candidate is nominated under the province, 600 points will be added to their CRS score. This virtually guarantees an Invitation to apply.

At Croyez Immigration, our experts in provincial nomination will identify the right PNP stream which matches the profile of the candidate. This will make sure the applicant does not miss high-ROI opportunities.
