New Brunswick Express Entry Labour Market Stream (EELMS)
The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program selects suitable labourers who meet all the requirement of the province’s labour market force and demographic need with the help of Express Entry Labour Market Stream (EELMS).
Eligibility Criteria for Express Entry Labour Market Stream (EELMS)
- The applicant must hold a valid Express Entry Profile and job seeker validation code.
- The applicant must be currently residing in the provincial area of New Brunswick and must be working in a job list under the skill level of 0, A, B classified under National Occupation Classification (NOC) and also must submit a valid job offer letter from the employer.
- Must hold a valid Canadian work permit.
- Must have acquired a valid language test score of CLB 7 or more given under IELTS, CELPIP or TEF Canada in all the four streams: listening, writing, reading and speaking.
- Must hold a valid Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) certificate that proves the candidate holds an equivalent educational profile compared to Canadian High School Diploma.
- To be eligible, a candidate must score 67 out of 100 in the selection factor under the Federal Skilled Worker Class and also must meet the required criteria under NBPNP.
- The immigration board of New Brunswick assess all the EOI (Expression Of Interest) forms and selects the high ranked ones to apply for their provincial nominee program.
- EOI profiles are shortlisted based on:
- Highest score obtained
- Experience and skill obtained by the applicant in their respective sector
- Ability to become financially self-sustained in the province
- The intention of contributing to the upliftment of the provincial labour market
Minimum Requirement to be met by the applicant
- The concerned applicant must fall between the age group of 22-55.
- The marks scored in language proficiency test should not be more than two years old.
- The candidate must have completed Canadian secondary or post-secondary education or an equivalent one which is verified by the Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canda (IRCC) that includes Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report provided .
- If the applicant is opting for a professional job in New Brunswick then the applicant must provide a valid offer letter copy provided by the recognized employer of New Brunswick province.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 12 months of relevant and continuous work experience in their field before applying for the Express Entry Visa which needs to be a paid one even if it is a part-time work.
- The applicant must show a commitment to permanently work and settle in the province of New Brunswick by finding a suitable job.
- The applicant candidate must provide financial proof self-survival and also their accompanying family memebers (if available).
Who are all ineligible?
- If the candidate’s application is in process under any immigration program of Canada.
- The applicant is not a proper resident or citizen of the country in which they are currently residing according to that nation’s legislation.
- Who are Having unresolved humanitarian or compassionate claim in Canada.
- Who are Failed humanitarian or compassionate living in Canada.
- Having an unresolved refugee claim in Canada.
- Failed refugee claimants living in Canada.
- Comes under removal order in Canada.
- The one who are prohibited to enter into Canada.
- The one who got engaged in post-secondary full-time education.
- Having a valid post-graudation work permit whose occupation falls under the category of NOC C or D.
- Who are live-in caregivers.
- Who are a seasonal or part-time or casual-worker.
- The applicants job which is not based in New Brunswick.
- Those who are intended to start a business or wish to become a self-employed individual in New Brunswick.
- Those who are unable to provide required proof of funds.
Eligibility Criteria for Express Entry Labour Market Stream (EELMS)
An applicant having a permanent job offer from an New Brusnwick employer can apply for visa under this scheme.
- Must fall between the age group of 22-55.
- Must have good language proficeincy in English or French to meet the on-demand requirements in the job.
- The applicants language proficiency will be assessed based on their submission of language proficeincy test result given in English or French.
- If the candidate gives the language proficiency test in Englsih then it must fall under:
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (Or)
- Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)
- If the candidate is opting for French the they need to give
- The candidate who possesses a Canadian Graduate degree, work experience, Alberta Qualification Certificate or Trade Certificate, which is approved by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industrial Training is not bound to get assessed under ECA.
- However, a candidate who has PGWP and applies for Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS) must get verified with their educational qualifications under ECA.
Test d Evaluation de Francais (TEF) exam
- Applicants who belongs to low-skilled job category like NOC C or D category must score CLB 4 out of 10 in language proficiency test in all four categories.
- Must hold relevant and proper educational qualification, work experience, relevant certificate and other documents that proves the candidate is professionally fit enough to do the assigned job in New Brunswick.
- The applicant must provide a valid offer letter given by the New Brunswick employer and the employer needs to have the following elgibility:
- The organization must be established atleast one year before providing the offer letter to the aplicant.
- The applicant must provide proof on their previouslty scheduled interview and the offer letter provided by the future employer of New Brunswick.
- Must have intention to permanently settle and work for the province of New Brunswick.
- Must score a minimum of 50 under the selection grid.
- Applicants under the following skill level are selected
- Skill level- 0 or A or B
- Skill level C- Skill type 1,3,7,8,9
- Skill level D- Skill type 1,3,7,8,9
