Saskatchewan increases SINP Quota in 2025

At Croyez Immigration, we are always committed to keeping our clients updated with the latest opportunities to make their dream of settling in Canada a reality. Recently, the Canadian province of Saskatchewan has been famous for its agricultural land, where they mainly harvest Wheat and grain. The government has announced good news for immigration aspirants. It has recently received 1,136 additional Nominations under the Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program (SINP)

With this increase, the total number of nominations available for 2025 has now risen to 4,761. This expansion in quota opens up more opportunities for applicants who were waiting for their chance. This program has allocated around 4,761. What makes these updates even more significant is that about 25% of the new nominations have been reserved for jobs in trucking, food services, accommodation and retail trade. These sectors have already hit their 25% nomination cap in June. This update will give fresh hope to candidates in these industries. The Canada Immigration News (CIC News) report has given a new opportunity for the candidates to re-enter the process and move to their dream country.

What’s new in the Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program (SINP) 2025?

In January, the Federal Government Program cut the 50% quota in the Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program compared to the previous year. Because the range says that 75% of immigrants are already inside Canada under a work permit visa or a temporary visa, and others. At the same time, they have decided to increase the quota of 25% for priority job sectors, including Agriculture, health care, and skilled trades.

People under this category are no longer eligible:

  • The candidates who want to start their own Business and own a farm in Saskatchewan are no longer eligible.
  • They have removed some eligibility for the open work permit
  • Restricting eligibility for the student category
  • The salons, pet care services and spas cannot recruit through the SINP.

There are a few Provinces and territories increase in allocations

Some provinces like Saskatchewan, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, and Yukon will gain more immigration quota in 2025. However, other provinces like Ontario and British Columbia have announced a cut of 50% of their allocation.

Newfoundland & Labrador- Increase 1000 Provincial Nominee Program in February 2025. In the Atlantic Immigration Program are 475 spaces, a total immigration allocation for Newfoundland & Labrador of 2,525. To know more information, be in touch with us.
