Types of Alberta Dedicated Healthcare Pathway
Alberta Dedicated Healthcare Pathway has 2 types of streams those streams are:
Express Entry Stream:
Under this stream, the candidates are already in the Federal Express Entry Pool with a line of profiles with the needs of Alberta’s labor market. If the candidates meet the eligibility requirements of Alberta’s healthcare system then they can apply for the dedicated healthcare pathway using this Canada Express Entry stream. Some of the eligibility under this Express Entry Stream are:
- The applicant profile must be eligible healthcare occupation
- Their job offer must be in an eligible healthcare profile given by an employer in Alberta.
- The job must be full-time, nonseasonal, it should be a paid job offer.
- The job should offer work for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- The pay must be equal to the median wage for the province.
- The job must be for 1 year or more
Non-Express Entry Stream:
This Stream is for Candidates who are not in the Express Entry pool but meet the eligibility requirements of Alberta’s dedicated healthcare pathway. Some of the eligibility requirements under this stream include:
- Your work profile falls under the category of healthcare jobs that are eligible.
- The candidates should have a valid job offer from a healthcare profile from an Alberta Employer.
- The job offer should be full-time, non-seasonal, and paid.
- The candidates need to work for 30 horses per week.
- The wages should match the provincial median wage rate.
- The job should be for 1 year or more.
