The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw targeting candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). In this draw, they issued over 1,000 invitations to apply (ITAs) to candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 533. This score is based on factors such as age, education, language ability, and work experience. For this, candidates needed to have created their Express Entry profile before 21st March 2025, at 4:16 AM (UTC).
The IRCC usually conducts one CEC draw every month since August. However, this draw marked the first time that two CEC draws were held in a single month. On the 27th of October, the sixth draw was conducted in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). On 15th October, a draw was conducted for healthcare and social services, and another Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw was conducted on 1st October.
The October 28 draw marked the 11th Canadian Experience Class(CEC) draw of the year. It was also the fourth consecutive CEC draw to feature 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), with a CRS cut-off score around 533. The previous CEC draws in this series had a cut-off score of 534. By this point in 2025, IRCC has issued a total of 74,485 ITAs through the Express Entry System.
In 2025, the Express Entry draw will focus mainly on the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), while the remaining invitations are issued through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Here, we listed the priority occupation category for your reference:
