Comparative Lookout of Previous Draws to the Current Draw
The last draw that was held on the 31st of August notably invited 500 more candidates than the previous draw and seemingly the trend is being continued in this draw too.
About the minimum CRS score, it tends to decline with 8-9 points in each draw, but this draw had a decrease of 5 points only, the draw held on July 6 fixed 557 as the minimum score.
The long pause in the all-program draw from December 2020
The all- program draw was on hold for about 18 months, during this phase, candidates of CEC and PNP were only invited for permanent residency, then by September 2021, the draws for the two programs were also paused.
Canada’s Immigration Target Track is All Active to Invite 4,32,000 Immigrants
As said by Immigration Minister Sean Fraser, Canada will break down the existing record of taking in 4,05,330 new ones in just a year, as of the end of June 2022, Canada has welcomed over 3,00,000 new permanent residents.
This year, Canada has totally invited 40,785 immigrants to apply for their permanent residence through their Canada Express Entry Program, the fastest and most prominent gateway. If this ease and speed continue, there are high chances that Canada may exceed the Immigration Levels Plan target numbered about 4,32,000.
Measures to Achieve the Planned Numbers and Target
IRCC, with an aim to achieve the planned targets, has made an attempt to process the application in a complete digital mode, also an additional staff of 1250 may also be added.
Thus, Canada is focusing on more immigration to work on the low unemployment rate and cover the million job vacancies
Upcoming Changes in 2023
A major change in the express entry would happen in 2023 to fill the gaps in the labor force, bringing this change would allow the authorized department to issue ITA‘s to the individuals holding specific work experience, education, or language ability, this may certainly reduce the importance of CRS scores in the upcoming draws.
About Express Entry
The Express Entry, an online application management system, was developed to manage the key immigration programs the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
The PNP candidates will already be having their profiles enrolled in the express entry and be qualified for any one of the key programs.
This application management system uses a point based known as the CRS Comprehensive Ranking System to invite candidates, the high-scoring candidates receive an ITA to apply for permanent residency.
On review of the application, IRCC makes a decision to ask for biometrics, and may call for an interview or may ask for submission of additional documents.
Above all the checks and reviews, on approval, the candidate will finally receive Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) after which the landing procedures could be initiated and you will officially be a permanent resident of Canada.
