The city of Greater Sudbury in Ontario has officially released its designated employers. These employers are registered under the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot. This opens doos for foreign individuals who are eligible to purse Canadian permanent residency through job offers that are community-endorsed.
Sudbury is chosen among a few of the selected communities participating in both of these immigration pilots. This makes it a key destination for skilled professionals who are looking to settle in rural Canada. The city has been allocated 525 nomination slots for RCIP and 45 slots for FCIP for the year 2025. This is considered a significant step towards addressing the labour shortages while boosting population growth.
