In the young farmer stream, the candidates' net worth should be at least CAD 300,000 and it must be verified by a Ministry-approved third party.

You need to prove that you have relevant experience and knowledge in farm operation. This can be demonstrated by some documents, like active ownership of a farm, using agricultural methods similar to Saskatchewan agricultural methods. The candidate's resume demonstrates their work experience, such as a place of employment, job title, and relevant business skills. A farm organization plan that explains how your background will help you run a Saskatchewan farm. In case of a young farm stream, the candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Farm management, Farm ownership, and Practical farming experience.

If you come from a specific country that is listed in the specific Checklist of Country, then include the required documents for you and the country as well. Your application is not able to be processed without the necessary documents.

Translation of Documents:
The documents need to be in French or English. In case your documents are in other languages, then you need to provide a photocopy of the original document, a translated document, and a certificate certifying the translator's credentials.

Whom Can You Add to Your Application
In the application, the applicants can include common-law partner or spouse, their dependent children, and an employee in your current farming operation, but they must submit their own Skilled Worker Application.

Verification of Net Worth
For the verification of net worth, the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) requires a third-party financial service provider. You need to submit your financial documents like financial statements, bank information, property evaluations to the third party provider. Once the assessment is complete, then you will receive a report, instructing you to submit the report to complete your application.

The candidates must submit a photocopy of their passports along with the Passport number, issue and expiry dates, the bio-data page (with name, photo, and place of birth), and all pages with exit and entry stamps.

Reviewing of Application and Processing Fee:
Once the application is received, then you will receive a Letter of Receipt and a file number. The candidate needs to pay a $2,500 CAD processing fee through wire transfer

Evaluation and Interview:
After the fee payment, the SINP will evaluate your application based on eligibility criteria. If needed, you may be required to provide additional documentation or even attend an interview, either in person or through other arrangements.

Deposit of Good Faith and Nomination:
Once the application process has been completed successfully, then you will receive a Nomination Approval letter and instructions for a $75,000 CAD Good Faith Deposit. The applicants need to pay this Good Faith Deposit within 3 months via wire transfer. The candidates will also get a Business Performance Agreement that frames your farming commitments.

Permanent Residency Nomination:
After making the deposit and your agreement is signed, then the applicant will be nominated for permanent residency. The SINP will send their Nomination Certificate to the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada). After this process, the applicants can apply for Permanent Resident Status.

Arrival and Landing Interview in Saskatchewan
Once the applicants arrive in Saskatchewan, they must attend a Landing Interview within 90 days. Then, they will receive support with their farm and access to settlement services.

Refunding of the Good Faith Deposit
After fulfilling the requirements of your Business Performance Agreement, you can request a reimbursement of the $75,000 Good Faith Deposit after you arrive in Saskatchewan.

Approval of Permanent Residency
If everything is in order, you and your family will receive Permanent Residence Visas from the IRCC.
